I always enjoy shooting at the stockyards, such a fun and unique background! Daniel, your session was a blast! Good luck as you move forward in life!
Today is your day.
You’re off to Great Places!
You’re off and away!
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You’re on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.
You’ll look up and down streets. Look ’em over with care.
About some you will say, “I don’t choose to go there.”
With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet,
you’re too smart to go down any not-so-good street.
And you may not find any
you’ll want to go down.
In that case, of course,
you’ll head straight out of town.
It’s opener there
in the wide open air.
Out there things can happen
and frequently do
to people as brainy
and footsy as you.
And then things start to happen,
don’t worry. Don’t stew.
Just go right along.
You’ll start happening too.
THE PLACES YOU’LL GO!
Congrats Anna! So excited for you!
It was such a privilege to shoot a few Senior sessions this spring, Andrew being the first of them. Graduation is such a fun and monumental time in their lives, I love getting to be a small part of it! So excited for Andrew and what the Lord has in store for him!
Because of the many sessions I had this past holiday season it’s taking me a little longer than I anticipated to blog them! Instead of dragging it out forever I decided to only pick my favorite 2-3 of the remaining sessions and share them all here with you. I had such a blast with all of these shoots, it was difficult to choose my favorites! Excited to share them with you today
“Most sin is committed for lack of meditation” Thomas Watson
Came across this quote recently and it’s really convicted me on how little I meditate. I’m striving to intentionally setting aside time to be still before the Lord. There are a million things screaming for my attention but I want to make sure I’m intentional with my time and have my priorities in line.
But in other news, I have a family session to share with you. The Guthrie family is a really fun family. Lots of personality in these 5 people! I throughly enjoyed this session and am excited to share with you!
I have known Peter and Kathlyn for a long time. I attended church with Peters family for many years, and Kathlyn was my sister roommate in college. They are such a sweet couple and it has been so fun to see them now with their adorable son! Peter and Kathlyn both have a wonderful heart for the Lord and their service is such a good example.
This shoot was so much fun, it was one of my first opportunities to shoot in downton Dallas. Ashlee has a great eye for photography, and her mom is amazingly talented as well, so they gave me a lot of creative ideas. I have enjoyed getting to work alongside this family on VBS crafts but it was fun to get to know them in a different setting.
I am so incredibly excited to share this session with you. This family has been so dear to me for a long time! Katie and I have almost grown up together at church, and we have been best friends since high school. She’s one of my few friends that have lasted through all the different phases of life. They were quite the hang out home in high school and college- many wonderful memories! I have been so blessed by this family’s love and generosity. It was such a privilege to photograph them!
